His work spans regulated investing, high-ticket real estate, travel, ecommerce and regional technology businesses, with a focus on making marketing accountable to revenue rather than activity.

Baraka

As Director of Growth & Marketing at Baraka, Rafay leads growth for a DFSA-regulated investing platform in Dubai. The mandate is broad: acquisition, activation, retention, referral, partnerships, brand, analytics and AI-native operations. The work reduced CAC by more than 30%, scaled funded accounts by 2.5x, delivered 2.0x+ ROAS on new customer cohorts and helped referral, influencer and partnership programs reach approximately 35% of acquisition.

The Heart of Europe / IHG

At The Heart of Europe / IHG, Rafay built a destination-led off-plan luxury real estate revenue engine. The work connected international HNWI acquisition, broker activation, investor events, event-to-digital funnels and a telesales channel into a system generating approximately $35M in monthly sales.

DAMAC Group

At DAMAC, Rafay scaled digitally driven sales to approximately $300M per month, increased digital-only share of total group sales from 6% to 14% in six months, and reduced cost of sale from 4.0% to 1.4% by Q1 2024. The role required international demand generation, performance leadership, telesales alignment and digital sales economics at group scale.

Rain and Seera

At Rain, Rafay led growth across KSA, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Turkey, growing organic traffic by more than 100% year over year and migrating rain.bh to rain.com without meaningful traffic loss. At Seera / Almosafer, he built an automated programmatic SEO platform that generated more than 500,000 landing pages by connecting APIs and internal data sources.
